About Casey Williams
Healthy soil changes everything.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: When we strengthen the living systems beneath our feet, we improve the health, resilience, and productivity of everything above them: plants, animals, people, and the landscapes that support them.
For more than a decade, I have worked at the intersection of practical land stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and soil microbiology, helping growers, ranchers, landowners, and organizations better understand what their land is telling them.
The goal is never to apply a one-size-fits-all prescription. It is to work alongside each client to understand their goals, observe the land closely, and identify the highest-leverage opportunities to improve soil function, plant health, and long-term performance.
The focus is always on helping people move from:
confusion → clarity
inputs → processes
reaction → observation
short-term fixes → resilient systems
A Practical Approach
I specialize in helping clients connect management decisions, systems, soil biology, and soil minerals into one practical framework.
My work includes:
- regenerative land management consulting
- workshops and hands-on education
- transects and long-term monitoring
- biological soil testing
- compost and vermicompost systems
- soil chemistry interpretation
Experience & Credentials
I bring together field experience, formal training, and an educator’s mindset.
Highlights include:
- Years of hands-on experience in regenerative agriculture and land stewardship
- Integrity Soils CREATE Program
- Certified Soil Food Web Consultant and Mentor
- global training and mentorship in microscopy, compost biology, and data-driven restoration
- Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC)
- Permaculture Teacher Training
- ongoing field experimentation in composting, biochar, and biological input systems
- workshop facilitation and public speaking across New Mexico and beyond
Whether the goal is improving a backyard garden or monitoring change across large acreage, the approach remains the same:
observe deeply
test strategically
implement thoughtfully
measure progress over time
Who I Work With
I work with a wide range of land and animal stewards, including:
- homeowners and homesteads
- market gardens and nurseries
- farms and ranches
- cannabis and specialty crop operations
- land restoration and ecosystem projects
- nonprofits and educational organizations
- research and grant-supported programs
Why This Work Matters
Healthy soil is the foundation of resilient land, stronger businesses, healthier ecosystems, and more nutrient-dense food.
The most rewarding part of this work is helping people develop the confidence to read their own land more clearly, so that over time they rely less on outside assistance and more on observation, process, and ecological understanding.
My mission is to help people build systems that thrive in the long term.
Beyond the Work
When I’m not in the field, you’ll usually find me experimenting with my home compost systems, gardening, reading, cooking, and enjoying time with my partner and our cat.
